The ingredients needed to make Carrot chilli mango pickle:
- Prepare 500 gm carrot
- Prepare 100 grm Chilli
- Take 100 gm raw Mango
- Take 1/2 tsp Fenu greek seed
- Take 2-3 tsp mustard seeds
- Get 2-3 tbsp cumin seed
- Take 4-5 tbsp mustard oil
- Get as per taste Salt
- Make ready 3-4 tsp Vinegar/ lemon juice
- Prepare 3-4 tsp fennel seeds
- Get 3-4 tbsp sabut coriander seeds
- Make ready 1-2 tsp turmeric powder
- Prepare 2-3 tsp Red chilli powder
- Get 1 tsp carom seeds (optional)
Finally add the remaining green chillies and the rest of the achar masala. We have a great selection of Indian pickle : green chilli pickle, indian lime pickle, indian mixed pickle, mirch ka achar, Shan pickles. We have Indian masala papad, deep khakhra and ginger garlic paste. A wide variety of mango mixed pickle ··· A full flavoured mixture of mango, carrot, red and green chilli, lemon pieces, ginger, mustard, and with other spices makes this a wonderfully.
Steps to make Carrot chilli mango pickle:
- First wash and dry the chillies then chopped chillies into two parts then chopped the carrot as per your choice and chopped mango then dry in the sun for 3-4 hrs
- Then roast the all whole masala then grind it(dardara)
- Heat the oil in a pan add carrot, turmeric powder saute for 30 sec in high flame then after cover it with lid for 3-4 min in slow flame
- Then take a bowl add oily masala of carrot, dry chopped chillies and dry chopped mango add whole masala grinded powder, red chillies,salt and vinegar then mix it well together
- After that pour the pickle into a air tight container jar kept in under sun for 2-3 days
- Carrot,chilli mango pickle is ready to eat
- Raw mango, carom seeds is optional
- For preservatives of this pickles add extra 2-3 tbsp oil in a jar to stay and enjoy long time
- Vinegar / lemon juice is another option for preservatives
Sweet and tangy pickled mango is a delightful addition to salads, fish tacos, sandwiches, and more. Of course, it also makes for a fantastically refreshing snack enjoyed straight from the jar. Mango pickle goes very well with Parathas/Roti and Vegetable/Dal combination as well. It can also be served alongside Rice, Dalia, Khichdi etc. When mango is in season, this 'Instant mango pickle' will appear more our kitchen.
