The ingredients needed to make Mung dal papad bhaji:
  1. Take 1 bowl yellow Moong dal
  2. Prepare 2 mungdal papad
  3. Make ready 1 Onion
  4. Make ready 4-5 garlic clove
  5. Get 1 piece ginger
  6. Make ready 1 tomato
  7. Prepare 1 pinch heeng
  8. Prepare 1 green chilli
  9. Take 4 tablespoon ghee
  10. Prepare 1 tbsp jeera
  11. Prepare 1 tbsp haldi
  12. Prepare 1 tbsp dhaniya powder
  13. Make ready 1 tbsp chilli powder
  14. Take Salt as per taste
  15. Prepare Lemon juice

We have added Moong dal in ¼ th quantity of Urad dal. You can add ½ quantity of moong dal flour or you can add urad dal flour and moong dal flour in equal quantity. If desired you can make papad only from Urad dal flour too. You can keep the size of papad big or small as desired.

Instructions to make Mung dal papad bhaji:
  1. First soak the mungdal for 1 hour.
  2. Now take a pan and put the ghee.
  3. Wen it becomes hot add heeng and jeera.
  4. Let it splutter
  5. Now add chopped garlic and ginger and green chilli..
  6. Fry it for ½ min.
  7. Wen garlic becomes golden brown add chopped onion.
  8. Cook it for 5 min.
  9. Dein add all spices.and cook for 1 min.
  10. Now add chopped tomato.
  11. Cook it for 5 min add water..
  12. Boil it once..And drain the water from dal.
  13. Now add dal and crushed papad in the water.
  14. And cook it till water soaked..
  15. Check the dal to press it between Your fingers…Wen it becomes soft..It means it is done..
  16. If it's hard dein cook it for sometime..If u need more water dein add it according to requirement..
  17. When it cooked add lemon juice and green Coriander if u want and serve it with chapati…
