  1. Beat sugar and butter until creamy. Whisk an egg into it along with the vanilla essence.
  2. Mix all the dry ingredients well. Fold the dry ingredients in this butter egg mix little by little. The dough should be a smooth and pliable one.
  3. Keep it refrigerated for 10 minutes. Preheat the oven to 180°. Start pinching golf sized balls out of the dough and roll between your palms until smooth.
  4. Press on top gently with a fork to give a nice design to them. Arrange all on a parchment lined baking tray. Bake for 15-20 minutes. Let them cool a bit before digging into them. Enjoy with a cup of Hot Chocolate.
