- Clean the fish pieces well and make some slits in them.Marinate the pieces with chilli,turmeric and salt.
- Keep aside for 30 mints.
- Meanwhile,make a smppth paste of all the ingredients listed under to grind by adding very little water.
- After 30 mints,heat oil in a pan.Fry the fish pieces till they are golden brown on both sides.Take care not to make them crispy.
- The fish pieces should remain juicy inside.So always keep the flame in medium and fry the fish pieces.
- Now in the same oil.Add green chilli and curry leaves.Saute till they are roasted well.Now add the prepared paste.Saute well till
- Raw smell goes and oil starts to seperate.Add 3/4 cup water.Let the gravy boil.Then add the fried fish pieces,vinegar and enough salt.
- Cover and cook till the gravy gets thicker.Remove from fire and serve hot with steamed rice.
