  2. Prepare 2 cups sugar

Steps to make Raw Papaya Murrabba:
  1. Take One medium sized raw papaya and peel from outside to remove skin and and clean inside to remove seeds and inner skin. Cut into 1 inch wide strips and slice finely.
  2. Add slices in enough water to cover, put to boil. Add a little water if required till soft
  3. When papaya is soft, add sugar and citric acid.
  4. Keep on mid-low flame to reduce it to half the volume. In about 8-10 mins the papaya will become transparent in colour.
  5. Add,roasted saunf and black pepper corns if using.
  6. Keep on low flame for another 2 mins.You can make it's consistency thin or thick as per preference.
