The ingredients needed to make Seviya Rabri parfait:
- Get 1 litre milk
- Prepare 1/2 cup sugar
- Make ready 1 pinch cardamom powder
- Prepare as required Few strands of saffron
- Take 1 cup vermicelli (roasted)
- Take 1/4 cup chopped nuts
- Prepare 1 cup water
- Make ready 1/4 cup sugar
- Get 2 tbsp ghee
Instructions to make Seviya Rabri parfait:
- For making Rabri, boil milk in a pan and continuously stir it till it reduces to half of it's quantity.
- Then add saffron and cardamom powder to it. Mix well and let it cook for another 5 minutes.
- Turn off the flame and keep the rabri aside and let it cool. You can also refrigerate it.
- Meanwhile prepare seviya by heating some ghee in a pan and roast seviya and chopped nuts in it for about 5 minutes.
- On another burner prepare sugar syrup. For this heat a pan, add water and sugar to it. Let the water boil and sugar melt. Add this syrup to the roasted seviya (vermicelli) and cook for some more time till all the excess water gets absorbed.
- Now that both the dishes are ready, assemble them in a jar or any other glassware of your choice. Enjoy
