- Cook on high flame for 3-4 minutes till the outer surface of the okra becomes soft
- When the okra becomes soft, reduce the flame to ‘medium’ and add in the powder spices and the chopped onion
- Cover and cook for about 2 minutes
- Open the lid and give it a mix. Add salt as per your taste and cover and cook for about 3-4 minutes
- Goes well with chappatis (Indian flat bread) or as a side dish with any regular lunch
