  1. Wash and cut raw mangoes into small cubes. You can peel off the skin if you wish to otherwise it's okiee to take the skin along.
  2. Heat up a pan. Add oil. When hot add in mustard cumin seeds. Then add asafoetida.
  3. Add chopped mangoes.
  4. Add 1/2 cup water cover and cook for 2-3 mins.
  5. When mangoes are cooked add in jaggery, salt, red chilli powder, coriander powder and mix well.
  6. When Jaggery melts turn the gas off.
  7. Serve the chutney with roti, paratha and thepla. You can also have it with Pulao or rice.
