  1. Prepare 1 cup Mung dal
  2. Prepare 1/4 cup Besan

  4. Get 1 Lemon

  8. Make ready 4 Tspn Oil

  13. Make ready 3 Tspn Mustered seeds
  14. Take 1/4 cup grated Coconut
  15. Take Handful Coriander leaves
Steps to make Mung Dal-Besan Dhokla:
  1. Soak mung dal for 4 hours. Now remove water and clean mung dal. Now make a fine pest of it by using grinder.
  2. Now in that add besan,salt,curd, lemon juice, turmeric,curd,sugar and mix well. Add little water if required by taking care of consistency. Give a mix and make lumps free batter. Allow it to rest 15 minutes.
  3. In a cooker add 2 glasses water and boil it, remove whistle. Keep a stand in cooker. Now grease a vessel with oil and keep ready.
  4. Now in a batter add baking soda/ENO, stir continue in 1 direction for 2-3 minutes. Now pour the batter in a greased vessel.
  5. Keep vessel inside cooker on stand. Close the cooker cover. First 6 minutes keep high flame then for 15 minutes steam on low flame.
  6. Remove vessel out,let it cool down. Now remove it in plate and cut it. Now pour tempering.
  7. For tempering, in a pan take 2 spoon oil,heat it. Now add mustard seeds, asafoetida,curry leaves, green chillies. Fry 1 minute. Switch off the flame. Pour it on Dhokla now.
  8. Now garnish with coriander leaves and grated coconut.
  9. Tasty Dhokla serv with Mint chutney.
