- Get 1 cup Fresh grated coconut
- Take 1 cup Jaggery
- Take as needed Little Ghee for greasing the palms while making ladoos
- Get 1 tsp Cardamom powder
- Prepare 1 tbsp Chopped dry fruits (optional)
Steps to make Coconut Jaggery Ladoo:
- In a pan add jaggery, little water and boil it on low flame till the Jaggery melts.
- In another heavy bottomed pan heat 1tsp ghee. Then add grated coconut and saute it for 5 minutes on slow flame until the moisture evaporates.
- Now add Jaggery syrup, cardamom powder to the coconut. Cook till the moisture evaporates and u could see strings in the mixture. It can take 4 to 5 mins.
- Switch off the flame and let the mixture cool. U can add chopped dry fruits before switching off the flame.
- Grease your palms and take small portion of the mixture. Give round shape to make ladoos.
- Now the yummy coconut and jaggery laddu is ready to serve
