  2. Make ready 1 cup moong daal

  7. Make ready 5-6 curry leaves
  8. Take 1 tablespoon crushed pepper
  9. Make ready 1 small tomato

  13. Take Handful coriander leaves
  14. Take 2 tablespoon Oil / ghee

Steps to make Little Millet pongal:
  1. Dry roast the moong daal
  2. Wash rice daal and millet and pressure cook for 3 whistles with 5 cups of water. Use rice only when you don't want to say your family it's millet.
  3. In a pan heat oil or ghee add mustard seeds and cumin seeds after mustard start popping add curry leaves and garlic.
  4. After garlic become golden add cashew and tomatoes
  5. After tomatoes are cooked add salt and chopped coconut. Add cooked daal and millet mix well. Add crushed pepper and chopped coriander leaves. Serve hot with tamarind chutney.
